Rain, Floods and Traffic

I got stuck in the mother of all traffic jams for 10 bleedin’ hours on the A34 while making my way to Birmingham. The normal 120 miles trip usually takes me two hours.

I left at 4:30pm and got there at 2:30am. All this mayhem was caused by the rain we’ve been having here.

Everything that could go wrong that day went wrong:
2 road accidents, floods on the motorway, closure due to landslip and road works could you believe.

4-30 to 2-30? That could land me from here to Trinidad & Tobago, wherever that is. It took you that long?

What was going through your mind for those 10 hours, I wonder, while you were stuck in that ghastly thing one calls "traffic".

I was going crazy. I sang, laughed, cried, slept and ate. By the end of the trip you can say I was on auto-pilot.
